Wonderful, well written book with a lot of sass and character to it.
I highly recommend this book for anyone that likes period time pieces, adventure, and a book filled with unexpected twists and turns. Throughout reading the book my views kept changing who I liked and who I didn't like, because the characters in the story are always in moral crises, there is no pure good and evil and this story blends the line between them. Things I liked:
The characters voice and train of thought frequently made me smile. The way his mind came up against big moral issues like slavery and murder and things like that were provocative, making me wonder about my own rational for strongly held beliefs.
