I just don't like this book that much. I always hate it when someone tries to take an established legend like the Arthurian tales and "re-envision" it. It's plenty envisioned as it is. It doesn't need to be redone from a femminist point of view. It was fine as an original.

I bought this book for $1.00 about 6 years ago and it sat on my book shelf until now. Well worth the wait...this book was awesome. I was never really into the Arthurian tales but you don't have to be to enjoy this book. Aside from the obvious (wonderfully depicted) story of Christianity vs. paganism is a book with great characters that you just can't help but love, even though you want to hate some of them!
