This is my absolute favorite book on earth. I think Morgaine was my first feminist role model circa the 8th grade. I just reread this book for the first time in along time and it was like visiting an old friend and realizing they haven't changed at all. Perfection.

I wasn't nuts about this one. And I felt guilty, because my friends/family all love and rave about it. I made it, I don't know, maybe halfway through the book. Normally I force myself to finish a book once I've started it (the two exceptions to that rule were Helter Skelter and Vanity Fair--the first got hurled into the trash can outside with great force, and the second I gave up on after the third or fourth attempt).
