I was really disappointed by this book. When I finished 'the death cure' i was so sad that i was leaving the characters of the maze runner behind. That is why when i picked up 'the kill order' i was so excited that i would see them again, assuming at least Thomas and Theresa, hoping Newt and mostly Minho. Those who have read it will know that this is not the case.

Fantastic prequel to the series. James Dashner has one brilliant imagination - this world and government that he has created is just mind boggling and I love it! This book definitely did not have the dreaded middle section that goes on for ever and I managed to complete the book in a day it was just brilliant. I highly recommend the maze runner series and this is absolutely one of my new favorite series and authors.

I felt very sad seeing Alec get the flare and watch him turn into a crank and knowing that mark and Trina died but made you feel so heartbroken when Trina whispered mark name to mark just before they died. Overall great book a bit slow at first but then action packed at the end.

This book is for real Maze Runner fans only. It's full of action (a bit too much) though. I was hoping that it'll explain more on Teresa and Thomas :/

I sort of had a feeling that Deedee was Teresa. I sort of feel sorry for her, but I still don't really like her.
