What Members Thought
Have just finished a reread and enjoyed it as much as the first time I read it. I had some difficulty applying myself to it for any length of time, owing to the size of my book—a 3-in-1 collection of over 900 pages that tired my hands and arms from holding it too long. I am regretting all the times I passed up the shiny new Penguin editions at the bookstore.

This is in my top four favorite Jane Austen novels; though maybe my favorite Austen novel is the one I'm reading at the moment (excluding "Emma").
I love Fanny Price, and how she manages to truly love so many deeply flawed people. She seeks to love rather than "improve" or "fix"; in contrast with nearly everyone else in the story.

I'm not too fond of Mansfield Park. I found it rather boring, the people were not likable, not even Fanny and Edmund. But - it was ok, and now I have read it.
