This is a hard story to rate, for me. The mystery was well done and practically "unsolvable" but I found the solution to be almost like a magician pulling multiple rabbits out of a single hat. To say that the solution to this mystery was "jury-rigged" would be an understatement and also a bad pun.
This is my first Agatha Christie novel, so I will need to read another.

Wow! Why have I never read Agatha Christie before? This book was really fun. Each character was unique. Hercule Poirot was intelligent and guided me through the story with a simplicity that I found interesting for a mystery novel protagonist. I listened to the audio version and I am really glad that I did because each character was voiced with a distinctive voice and accent. I could have never done their voices justice.

Okay, I hang my head in shame. I am a mystery buff and have never read Murder on the Orient Express. I knew about, or thought I did. I even swore I seen a show on it. Well, I read it and was so wrong. I have to eat my crow now. But the end result was quite tasty.

This is the story of a famous detective who finds himself on a train with a dead man. It is supposed to be a simple train trip back to England, but with most famous detectives nothing is ever as simple as it should be. Bad weather causes

I’ve read this probably a dozen times over the years but reading after having my own daughter made it a much richer experience.
