What Members Thought
There are some who say that this book is kind of boring. Nothing really happens, the old man just goes fishing and the whole thing is about him trying to land the fish.
That's true, but it is still one of my favorite books, because it's not about what happens. It's about how it feels. Tales of the fight between man and beast is as old as time, and when it's at sea, it is also about the elements, and the sea creature has the definite advantage.
