This was the first time reading this as an adult and I remember loving this book when i was a kid. It's good but the magic of the story doesn't hold up as well when you're older.

The more I listened the more I wanted to shut it off. Love the science fiction, especially the jumping around via tesseract, but the narration and convoluted story as the end approached wore me down and with thirty minutes to go I just wanted it to be over with.
I might have liked it better had I read it as it seemed like all of Meg's lines were whiny and shrill, and the dimension-jumping ladies/beings electronically-altered voices were irritating after a while. I was surprised that the scientis ...more
