Oh, I do so love Roald Dahl! His quirky novels are just such a blast to read! While Matilda contains some very despicable characters (her parents and the headmistress) who are oh so mean and some of the language/name calling is a tad rough, the novel is such a fun tale of young Matilda and her amazing gifts! We laughed out loud several times and loved rooting for the tiny, young heroine!
