What Members Thought
There is no doubt that Julia Quinn will always be most known for her Bridgerton Family series. The love stories of the 8 siblings (in the order told: Daphne, Anthony, Benedict, Colin, Eloise, Francesca, Hyacinth & Gregory) chronicle one of the most engaging fictional families ever. Even though the stories end with epilogues, there were still questions that fans had & so JQ started writing the 2nd epilogues to answer some of those questions.

I've been wanting to read this since its release. Unfortunately, it wasn't available locally until this week. Yey! Super overjoyed when I saw a copy sa NBS. And well, by the time I arrived home, I started reading. And all I can say that I really enjoyed it. :) I know I've read the other previously released 2nd epilogues but it felt like I was reading them for the first time. I was really looking forward to reading these epilogues as the Bridgerton novels are amongst my favourite reads. In many ways I did also enjoy reading these epilogues and finding out more about what happened after the marriages of the Bridgerton siblings, but I found some of the stories quite contrived and the narrative and behaviour of some of the characters quite cringe worthy.
I LOVE series books. I love getting to know characters on a deeper level. I adore Julia Quinn.
I especially loved the story "Violet in Bloom" in this collection of epilogues. And I was touched to the core Francesca and Michael's second epilogue, as it very closely mirrored my own experience. {Sorry to be vague, but I'm not giving any spoilers away here}

Perfect end to wonderful series! I really liked Edmund from the little glimpses of him in this book. He was truly a happy person. I wish we would've gotten the opportunity to know him a bit better.
Overall it was wonderful, funny, sad and a happy series, and I'm glad I got chance to meet all of them. Job well done! Farewell Edmund, Violet, Anthony and Kate, Benedict and Sophie, Daphne and Simon, Colin and Penelope, Eloise and Phillip, Francesca and Michael, Gregory and Lucy, and Hyacinth and Gare ...more
