3rd read: December 2020
I have to say that I completely changed my opinion. I was so very annoyed with Daphne in this book, but on this reread I cam to the conclusion that her only fault was being ignorant of sexual relations and that's so not her fault. Simon knew better and he kept fucking lying all the time!
My rating isn't changing because I am still angry with someone, but the someone changed LOL
2nd read 2011
Gender: Regency Historical
Hero: Simon Basset, Duke of Hastings
Heroine: Daphne Bridge ...more

My first historical romance. I read this when i was 15. I've read it several times, and still one of the best. :)

I expected to like it more than I did with so many great reviews. For me it was a little better than ok, but not much more.
