Incredibly well-written and extensively researched account of the lynching at Moore’s Ford Bridge in 1946. I live in Oconee County, which is just across the bridge from Walton County where most of the happenings took place, so it was especially interesting to me. The author stuck to the known facts about the case, as well as drawing from various accounts given by a number of people back then and years later. She didn’t embellish or make anything up.
