The year 2014 should have been a banner one for humanity with cures for the common cold and cancer hitting the market. But then something went terribly wrong as the two cures worked together to create a virus that turns human beings into zombies, bringing on the zombie apocalypse.

"Everything is 'just a story.' Tragedy, comedy, end of the world, whatever, it's just a story. What matters is making sure it's heard."

I'm so glad I finally got my hands on a copy of this first book. It's a wonderful look at journalism and end times - all in the hands of zombies. Add presidential politics, espionage, religious fanatics, and naming your kids after George Romero, and this is a definte recipe for a rolicking good time. I'm very, very glad I found this book! ...more
