What Members Thought
Have you ever had one of those weeks when a couple of the books you're reading seem to be related even if they're from two different sections of the bookstore or library?
In the case of Every Fifteen Minutes and To All the Boys I've Loved, it's not a thematic similarity the books share, but instead my growing frustration with the main characters of each novel. Reading/listening to both books, I kept having to resist the urge to want to reach into the novel and tell the protagonist to wake up and ...more

Lara Jane is a good girl, she's never had a boyfriend but she's been in love 5 times. Each of the 5 she has written a letter to, letters that express her deepest emotions and thoughts, words that she would never dare speak aloud let alone to the guys she loved at each point in time that it was that guy she was in love with. They were never to know how she felt, until one day they do. What is she going to do, especially when of the boys is her older sisters ex.

That isn't exactly the way I expected that to end. Also, now I need to 2nd book. I really need to find out what happens next. How can it just end like that?

I think I have to stay away from YA for a while. I keep thinking I'll find some that will read as a good book rather than a good YA book. But, no.
This had quite a few good reviews and Audible was pushing it. When they added it to their Romance Package I figured I'd try it. It was sweet but way too light. And I can't see myself spending more time to listen to the 2nd and 3rd in the series. Even if they're free.

This was a fun YA novel. The only thing I could wish for is that the main character had a little more spark. I understand she is an introvert, and could relate to her feelings of fear and not wanting to put herself out there. But it seemed like she wasn't really willing to fight for anything at all. I plan to read the sequel to this book, and I hope she shows a little more passion for something.
I feel like the ending was a ploy to get you to read the next book. Like, there really was no ending. ...more

I loved this one. Hated how it just ends at that part .. onto #2!
Lara Jean is the middle daughter of a widowed OBGYN.
She and her sisters are close, along with their neighbor Josh.
However, when her eldest sister breaks up with Josh, the whole family is put in a tailspin. When Lara Jean uses letters to write out her complicated feelings toward Josh and to the other boys she's loved, the letters get mysteriously delivered and she has some explaining to do.
This was a really cute story, and a promising first book of the trilogy. I want to read more, for sure! ...more
