5 🌟 now that was a thriller. I enjoyed the playing with the readers head. I swear I felt as if I was becoming crazy lol.
Anna stuck in her home due to her medical condition. Only way for her to pass time is to watch her neighbors, drink wine, take pills, sleep and watch old movies. But wine, pills and thriller movies don't mix well when she witnesses her neighbor being murder. Or do she? Police doesn't believe her.
It's crazy how there's so many twists I gotten confused for a second lol. But I di

"Who knows what goes on in a family?"

This was such a fun read - full of twists and turns that kept me turning the pages and wanting to read more. I love how unreliable Anna or Dr. Fox is. Most of the book, you have no idea how much of the alcohol mixed with all her medications is messing with her.

I loved the black and white movies and how they mixed into the plot. Their lines and emotions were wrapped around every day Anna was in the house. Her agoraphobia was almost as tangible as the pages th

The Woman on the Train was a quick easy read. It was well-written and kept my attention but not quite as suspenseful or thrilling as one might want from this genre of books. While parts were predictable and easily figured out, other parts did hold some mystery and intrigue. I was unable to bond with or like the heroine whose actions angered me more than arose my sympathy.

The protagonist in the book loves old black and white movies like Gaslight and Rebecca. And that is how this book reads, the suspense just keeps on building.

Could not put this book down! I am a sucker for short chapters. I can always ‘read one more’. I got to what I thought was the big reveal with 100 pages left and wondered what could be next. The hits just kept coming!

I don’t know if I will be able to watch the movie, but the casting looks great, and I am very glad to have read the book.

Great debut!
