This is one of the most gripping yet heartbreaking infuriating, disappointing, eye-opening books I've ever read. Every now and then you run into a book that touches the very depths of your soul. Homegoing did this for me. It seemed as though every chapter included a bit with a line or two that I wanted to mention in my review of the book... But it was just too enthralling to put down.
