EDIT: Apparently I was wrong and this was NOT the final book of the series. So, just replace the word 'final' with 'transitional' in my review. The rating stays the same, because the plot lines I mentioned still didn't go anywhere, at least not in this book. And I feel that at least one of them should have.

3.5 stars

There was nothing really wrong with this book. I was glad to read about Taylor and Will again. I always enjoy Lanyon's writing and that was true for this book as well.

But, Kick Start

Blurb: Will and Taylor have left the Diplomatic Services and are starting their own security consultancy, but it isn't all caviar and champagne starting a new business, becoming business partners, and life partners. Throw family dynamics into mix as well and you have a great set up for the next chapter in our dynamic duo's new life. One of my favourite couples is back :)
Unlike previous novellas in the same series, this time the book focused a little more on Will & Taylor’s characters and their relationship, thoughts of their future, rather than being plot/adventure-driven. Well, there was a plot, naturally, but it mostly took a back step to the relationship and family life side (Will’s family and its relationship to Taylor). After the momentous decision to resign from the DSS and set up their own business, after all the gu

NOW I HAVE SOMETHING TO LOOKING FORWARD IN OCTOBER!

To quote another reviewer, "Meh." Very underwhelming. Sometimes a series should just be wrapped up over with or he characters start regressing to keep the story moving. No reason to drag things out to 10 books, you know? ...more
