What Members Thought
Usually I devour a book but I truly enjoyed savoring this one. I love Josh's understated, nuanced style. His research is so meticulous that I felt like I got a free history lesson for 1930's San Francisco--which I loved. I must have stopped a dozen times to look up references he made in the book on the internet to learn more about them. Not at all necessary to enjoy the book--just my thing. Really loved this book!

Another on of those books that leave you very warm inside. With Josh is like reading the same thing over and over again, never getting tired of hearing it every single time.
