I l-o-v-e-d this book! Josh Lanyon knows how to cajole his readers with evocative descriptions that takes us on a journey with his characters. It's a beautiful experience to read his mellifluous way of writing. This book had a strong storyline with a great mystery. I was hooked till the very end guessing about the "whodunnit". Intertwined with fabulous romance, as usual Josh Lanyon's multifaceted "human" characters drew me in completely and I cared about both of them very much.

This wasn't the perfect crime book. But the writing was awesome (seriously, AWESOME!) and I loved it nonetheless.

It was first Josh Lanyon's book I read. I liked the tension between Elliot and Tucker and Elliot's selective memories of their relationship. This book was very romantic and yet suspenseful, I love whodonit kind of stories :)

Fives stars for the story but only 3 stars for the audio.
I really liked this story and I have had it in my kindle for ages but I didn't like the narration. It was nearly monotone in some places so not my favourite kind of audiobook. Of course I enjoyed the story because I always enjoy Josh Lanyon's stories. Having finally read book one in this series I am now looking forward to reading book two. ...more
