Three stars because the book wasn't as strong as some of the other books in this series. Not much happened in the bigger picture (story) and I was very annoyed with Shane's POV.

I like this series. Probably because they are so easy to read, short; really entertaining. *windshield time* I like the characters. I think of each book as a sitcom episode. This book was pretty good. Bishop scheming to regain power by exposing Morganville for what it is - Vamperville. Not to mention, making a pretty penny...because doesn't money make the world go round? Wow. You’ve done it again Rachel Caine! Bite Clue, the latest in the Morganville Series, Claire, the main character has another crisis to deal with, and her boyfriend Shane is becoming a hothead yelling at everyone to the point of violence. Myrnin is throwing rocks through the portal because he doesn’t know quite understand how to text message. And just wait till you read what Eve and Michael are up too.

I love the morganville series. I love the friendship bewtween Clair, Shane, Michael and Eve. i like how they act with each other. Though with this one i just couldn't get into it. I was about to stop reading then I got to the first chapter that's in Shane's Point of View. It was new and a little bit of a twist. You really got to see Shane, the anger he has for his father, how he feels about Clair. I really enjoyed that. I hope it's the same for Last Breath
