A great start to a new paranormal mystery series. Stacy has returned to her small hometown and had to deal with her heritage (witches run in the family). After a fire at her cousin's bar leads to a trail of dead bodies, she needs to embrace her power to solve the mystery and come out alive.

I really enjoyed this book.The character's were interesting and the story had an overall good flow. There were plenty of fun secondary character's,with lot's of action.Several twists and turns kept me guessing until the end. There was just a touch of romance to be that cherry on top.I highly recommend this for a fun entertaining read. ...more

The beginning was slow, but things picked up. I thought Stacy was smart at times and I liked her go get 'em attitude. Other times I thought she was immature and stupid (make that REALLY stupid). The mystery and who-did-it was good. One thing that bothered me: at the beginning Stacy gets burned. Burns are painful and it's not mentioned ever again. There are a few other instances in this book (except the last time) where she is hurt, but then the next day seems fine. I thought this was unrealistic ...more
