I gotta be honest I was a little disappointed in this book. First of all their was not near enough interaction and verbal sparing between the Brothers. This is my favorite part of any of the BDB books and this book was sorely lacking it!! Second the sex scenes between Qhuinn and Blay felt rushed and glossed over. I am not even an M/M reader and I was excited to see the action between these two so I was disappointed because compared to most of BDB love scenes these just wasn't given the attention ...more

Finally! Very very happy right now but could not give this 5 stars as I got fed up of getting really into a scene to have it suddenly stop and jump to a sub-plot and then back again. It just ruined the pace of the book and instead of getting me interested in these new and newer characters just made me not care as they felt like a chore I had to get through to get back to the main plot. Random thoughts/complaints:

-About one every five chapters added something to this particular book's storyline.
-They only get together one chapter before the epilogue.
-The epilogue was really cheesy.
-I found myself more interested in/distracted by the sideline romances (except for Trez, I don't care much for chosens, most of them come across as bland and...meek)

Just finish it. It was hot! Just gay scenes were a walk on the wild side. Like peeking into a bedroom window I don't usually peek into. Several other romances were introduced but never resolved. And a long lost family member has returned- very soap opera - I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!!! oh when people die but don't stay dead. LOL- still I thought that subplot was done very well and I'm interested to see how that develops... we don't know yet... are they good or evil... ...more

So disappointed. The book could have been so much better (and shorter) with some judicious editing. Some of the story should have been saved for its own book.
