A really short book.
I think the author wrote this book to give more background about Micah, since compared to the other characters we didn't know anything about him. (we probably knew more about Dolph than Micah) So for that purpose it was an okay book, but not if you compare it to the other books in the series.

Shelves: urban-fantasy

Really enjoyed this one. It was pretty short and a quick easy read, which was a nice little spritzer between her larger novels. It was nice to get more of Micah's story and we really got to see how much he truly loves Anita, not just because of their metaphysical connection. It was also nice to see some insecurities from him, he's normally so collected and cautious, but he really wants to make things with Anita work, no matter what she needs for that to happen.
