I still had a hard time connecting with the characters but at least they were tolerable this time. There was no urge to kill Mac which surprised me. I felt relief that she's learning and growing as a person because she couldn't get more shallow and TSTL.

Hopefully the silliness will end very soon. I can say that I did like the subtle differences from the first book. This series is just drenched in mystery, and I can't wait to see what's in the basement.

Absolutely loved it! It just gets better and better!
I've never wanted to know so much about a character, and Jericho Barrons is getting to me! The anticipation... I'm dying to know more about him! He is a jerk, but sometimes, the little things he does just gets to me. He's definitely growing on me.
And V'lane...that Fae Prince appears so little in the book, but every time he does, he makes it unforgettable. V'lane is definitely on the top of my list right now.

Ah Barrons, is he or isn't he? Still no answers. But I liked this book anyway.

I know I started reading this series with the 2nd one cause I had to turn this one into the library straight away. But netherless there was enough in it that it didn't get me lost or didn't keep my interest. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series and seeing what happens next. Though some of the stuff written was way out there. Hehe.
