At the point I stopped I would say 2.5 STARS. Why did I stop? Let me tell you about it .....

So I am reading along, 61% done on my Kindle, and suddenly I just don't really care anymore. I don't care if they kill the God or both Gods. I don't care if Andrea and Raphael live happily ever after and I don't care if the draugr eats them all.

I was totally into the book in the beginning. Didn't think I would be since it doesn't have Kate as the MC, but I did actually like it. I liked getting to know An

I like it very much. Sometimes with authors that write long sagas with different characters what happens is that you just get new versions of the same character with a different name (i'm looking at you Wilbur), this doesn't happen in this book. Andrea is a different character from Kate, and it's interesting her take on her.

I love Curran. I never really cared for Raphael. I love Derek, yet Ascanio leaves me cold. But I am going to marry Roman. He's mine, you hear? All mine.
Andrea is too civil for my tastes. That first scene with Raph she should've done more. They had not officially broken up and yet he was flaunting a new toy in front of her. I would've kicked t

The Ilona Andrews team has done it once again! Another great book with an awesome main character. I love Andrea!

I enjoyed Andrea's story and point of view. Her back-story is horrifying. I liked how she was able to keep on going and accept who she is. I'm glad she and Raphael worked out their issues. I didn't like Raphael or his attitude, but that got better.

I'm glad Andrea got her own story and look forward to reading more. I like the idea of the novellas in this series featuring the secondary characters we love. However, Kate and Curran are still my favorites and I would like the novels to focus on them.
