Pretty disappointed with this book, especially considering Strider is one of my favourite characters (Reyes, the Keeper of Pain, beating him to the number one spot and Paris tying in at number 2). Plus, I like Kaia, so I thought I was in for a good read. Nope, there may have been highlights in this book, areas that I really liked, but the downsides far outnumbered them. There was a lot of waffling as well as repetitive and unnecessary thoughts. There was one example where I had to read two pages ...more
