The Good:
I have been in such an YA funk that i thought I was going to hate this book when I received from the International Book Tours. I am so glad to say that I was wrong in my prediction and very surprised by how much i enjoyed this story.

This was definitely different. I haven't done much with Norse mythology. A little look many years ago when I was in high school, and I watched Thor (that has to count...right?) But this was amazing, rich, full of myth and legend, and all wrapped up with great story telling. I loved the characters, Kat embraced her powers and responsibilities.
