I really enjoyed Fallon's story, I'm a little upset that Quinn is still being held by the evil Deirdre... Thank God that book's been written already so I jump into it next! :)
Things are really starting to heat up, I'm really looking forward to the rescue mision. The build up in this one was intense. I'm glad they are working to make a plan and not just storming the mountain. In the first book I was intrigued by Galen, this time it's Broc that has me wondering :) ...more

The broody oldest MacLeod brother began changing his centuries-old habits to support and protect his brothers. Unfortunately, I felt like Fallon was a whining baby who took the brooding thing way...to...far! I certainly see where he is trying to be the leader he was born to be and I certainly hope as the series progresses t

3.5*
I liked this one more than book 1. I liked Larena and Fallon together (and I liked them individually as well). The one thing that knocked this down for me (1/2 star) was Fallon's feelings of betrayal after finding out Lorena's secret. So what? He would have done the SAME thing!
This series stands out in that while each book is about a couple, there is an underlying backstory that threads through each book. So, the big question becomes, how may books will it take to defeat Deirdre? (I'd compa ...more
