The second book in the Chicagoland series, and just as good (which was great!). This book picks up where the last book (Some Girls Bite) left off, Merit is moving into the Cadogan house, dating the new Master Vampire that her Master told her too, while trying to ignore her feelings for said Master.
To top it all off there are more threats to the houses, and Merit is forced to enter the world that she hated. Her parents world.

This continues to be a fun, but not too stupid, vampire series. The strength of these books for me is the dialogue. Merit and friends are all pretty snarky and it's fun reading their interactions. The descriptive passages are weaker and can be repetitive. I think if you made a drinking game about the number of times Merit thought about Ethan and thought "master vampire who made me", well, you probably wouldn't get up for work in the AM.
