Not as intriguing as the first in the series, but a good read nonetheless. This installment felt a little like a cop out for introducing the other supernatural beings with minimal effort. While I appreciate the educational introduction to the new world of characters that the author is bringing into the series, I thought this wasn't quite the interesting premise it could have been.
