As usual, I listened to this book twice already and likely will listen to it again before I write a complete review. I really enjoyed the book but for a full length novel, I was expecting more. I felt there was a wasted opportunity having Mensah and the Preservation crew around but they barely showed up. Even Three was MIA. It felt like Ms. Wells had an idea for a novella and she just added some stuff to pad the page count.

Have another fantastic adventure with Murderbot! Following up the events in the fifth book in the series, book seven finds our beloved main character dealing with terrible events on the planet while also having episodes of PTSD leading to inner doubts about being able to keep its humans safe. Much better than Network Effect - though I still prefer the Murderbot books where they're on their own and solving crimes/mysteries. Books 5&7 have had too many humans and too much ART for my taste. This is probably not a complaint most people have, but there it is.
