I enjoyed learning more about Blair and Luke's history and their May-December mating bond. But, I'm finding the storyline in the spin-off is kinda cookie-cutter; four books in and I can predict how the story will play out - aside from the mating couple. Makes for a rough read.

Wright is still a must-read for me and I enjoy all of her shifter stories. (✮✮✮½) ...more

Luke Devereaux & Blair Kendrick

I'm so happy to see Luke finally get to claim his mate. His is the first one in this world that I've read where the characters knew they were fated mates, but something or someone else was keeping them apart.

In this case it was at first because she wasn't old enough, and then because of her family. I wanted to slap her mother and the rest of her people so bad.

Suzanne Wright is one of my favorite authors and I will read anything by her.

Sadly, I am finding that this series & others are becoming tired, boring and so very predictable. There is no longer any surprises or excitement in these stories which makes me very sad.

This story was well written as always and good.

I found it hard to connect with Blair & Luke and Blair's contortion act seriously freaked me out.
