I didn't like this one as much because both the leads needed someone to shake some sense into them. For two people who claimed about 23489575436 times in this book to know the other better than anyone in the world, able to see right through them ... these idiots spent 80% of the book desperately wanting a relationship with each other, but positive the other didn't and to try would be to end the friendship.

I was so looking forward to Aspen and Camden's story as it seemed so exciting after reading When He's an Alpha. Their chemistry and how possessive Camden was towards Aspen was so much fun to read.

This book did not disappoint. I liked how their relationship evolved but what annoyed me was that Aspen had 1 foot out the door right of the bat. She only spoke if when things between them ends, she made no attempts to try and make a relationship between them work and this did annoy me greatly.

This book is one of the best in the series. I love these two together. The way they accept each other as they are. This was a great friends-to-lovers story. As usual, the twists and turns in the mystery had me guessing right until the end.

Aspen Montgomery & Camden Priest

I was looking forward to this one after meeting them in the previous book. I wasn't disappointed in what I found in these pages.

Aspen and Camden have been there for one another since they were kids and that has carried over into their lives as adults.
