What Members Thought
I got this on a list of other books published around the same time that were getting a lot of hype. The writing is solid, and it follows the old-school Gothic Romance novel formula, with some darker twists. My problems with the book are two fold. The first is that the protagonist is a privileged rich girl, and I was never able to really care what happened to her. The second was that there were simply too many places where the characters repeated actions or conversations, could have simply left,
