I had to start this immediately after finishing Iron Kissed - the voyeur in me I guess.
OKay so really the plot wasn't quite as strong in this book except for Marsillia's machinations with Stefan but I think there is a huge benefit in being able to read the books in a series one after another because it feels more like a continuing story so you tend to forgive more.
The whole James Blackwood thing didn't hang together for me quite right but I liked the ghost angle.

This book and Iron Kissed needed to be read back to back, IMO, they felt like one book. Loved them both and will read the next immediately.
