3.75 stars for the writing. Maybe four. By the end the plot got a little too convoluted and though I really enjoyed it- the whole comic book theme was a big departure from the original tone of the series.
But 5 stars for my overall enjoyment. As I read, I kept thinking of the sookie series and how much I enjoyed the world and the characters, even when the plot went off on weird tangents. This series is similar but without the steamy scenes.
