What Members Thought
Mercy is one of my favorites, but I think this book suffered a bit from being away from the pack and friends with just Mercy and Adam to face the evil on their honeymoon.
What I enjoyed:
* Coyote and Thunderbird. Very interesting.
* Mercy and Adam getting married.
* Calvin, the poor boy has a lot to learn.
* Learning more about Mercy's Native American heritage.
* The walking stick just keeps getting more and more interesting.

Once again I was anxiously awaiting the new Mercy adventure.Once again I was not disappointed. The new book had so much excitement and adventure. The revelations just kept coming and coming. We learn more about Mercy and her past than we ever knew before . Plus the relationship between her and Adam has never been so romantic and awesome. This story was a true treat for Mercy fans. If you haven't yet read this series then you should!!

Mercy remains one of my favorite UF heroines. I love her and Adam together as well (and admit I got a little teary eyed at the wedding). I enjoyed most of this book and liked the introduction of the animal spirits into Mercy's world. However, it felt like something was missing. Maybe the pack interaction? A minor quibble with a totally fun and enjoyable read.

I gave this book 3 and a half stars. First I really like this series. However, this book was a bit disappointing. There was one aspect that I really love about this book and that is Adam's and Mercy's relationship. I found the stories of the native American myths interesting. But at times it was just to much information. There was a lot of world building in this book. At times I felt like I was back in college in a native American studies class. What I mean by this is the native American stories

Great addition to the series. I loves being able to see more of Adam and Mercy, especially alone.

I really like the audiobook version, narrator does excellent read. This was one of the better installments (they are all good) of Mercy. I particularly liked seeing more of Mercy and Adam together as a couple. Looking forward to the next Mercy book.
