Eve Silver doesn’t just paint a pretty picture with her prose. Her descriptions will bring you in to the Otherkin world, will evoke strong emotions. Her words can cut, can overwhelm and can bring butterflies to your stomach. In other words, I love reading her books because during the time from cover-to-cover I feel like I’m in another world. An impressive skill, and a damn good reason for readers to pick up her novels.

I enjoyed this book so much! I really liked Naphre and Alastor together. I did think the ending was a bit rushed (and abrupt). The who and why of Lokan's murder is still just as much of a mystery as in book 1. There was a suggestion or inkling of just where Lokan might be and the question of who sent Naphre and Alastor there(Jigoku) was unresolved. This is a 4 book series, so answers should be forthcoming in the next 2! ...more
