I love Kelley Armstrong. Her books are well written, entertaining, and suspenseful. I loved this book, and cannot wait for the next one in the trilogy. I love how even though she writes for different audiences, they're all part of the same world. St. Cloud is a cabal in her Otherworld adult series; Sam Lyle was the founder of the Lyle House in Darkest Powers trilogy. They're all tied together, but you don't need to read both adult and young adult to understand the story.

An enjoyable read. Slow to start, really picked up about 1/2 through. I have many questions after reading this book and not very many answers. I really liked Maya. I liked that KA made the main character Native. Most of the fiction I've read isn't very diverse and it was wonderful to have a main character the was someone other than Caucasian.
