1.5 stars. Convoluted and so over the top it was laughable. Shiva, the Celts and Nigerian magic all smashed together? I mean, when I came across the term "majik Noirre" I knew that I would cringe my way through the book. I was right. Just take the Beladors - Mary and Marty Sues up the wazoo. Throw anything at them and it will stick: telekinesis, telepathy, energy blasts, energy shields... I actually had to laugh. It was so unbelievable and I say that as an urban fantasy fan.

evalle strong woman with all the super hero attributes but little self confidence works with other super heroes saving the world. I enjoyed the premise set in present day usa good fantasy awaiting next in series
