The fact that the end was so abrupt leads me to believe this is one long store split into 4 parts. The man at the end with the glowing eyes is just another part of the story. Duh.
This is the first Dodd book I've read and it was actually pretty good. There was just enough of everything that I wasn't bored and wanted to finish reading so i could get to the next book. Not a keeper, but still good.
