Not exactly laugh-out-loud funny, but very amusing nonetheless, especially in the first half of the book. It reminded me a lot of other vampire series - I read too many of them, I know - and at times I felt like I had read parts of this before in either Twilight or Cat and Bones or somewhere.

It was ok. I've definitely read worse. The "villain" was on the lame side, not villain-y enough for me. The Heroine was kind of slow on the uptake and her reactions to the stuff about her family were underwhelming. Also the interactions between the MC was just shy of awkward. Overall the plot felt thrown together at times and some parts didn't seem to have any relevance. The stuff with heroine's father was really forced, that I wish it was eliminated altogether.

This was a very funny and light-hearted book. The characters were well done and I loved that Roman was a bit of a nerd. Not all sexy vamps have to be the best fighters/leaders/lovers out there. I enjoyed the story a lot...even though it wasn't as sophisticated as many paranormal stories, it was well worth the time spent reading it. I would recommend it to anyone who loves paranormal romance, but wants some humor to lighten up the day.

This was cute! While the constant overthinking done by the heroine, Shanna, was irritating, it did fit the plot and it didn't take her too long to come to her senses. I'd consider reading more books in this series.

Not bad. Going to try the next two books in series.
It was a good story interesting plot, but was missing a lot of the sizzle.
