This book felt different from the series so far, but in a good way. I can't define it exactly, but different. I really enjoyed it, and quite liked Fiona! Christophe hasn't been a particularly favorite warrior, but enjoyed learning more about him and he pleasantly surprised me. The developments with the Fae are quite interesting...and I'm looking forward to the next developments in the series.

I'm at a loss as to what to say anymore about this series. I really like the series, but there are parts I don't like.
I like the action, but I don't like how the endings are rushed.
This one did a good job with the end and helped with pushing the storyline further into something I want to continue reading.
