This reread is due to the fact that I never got past book 1 of my last reread and that was about 4 yrs ago. This time around I have distanced myself from the tv series because I haven't watched it in a while. However, I did think about it a bit this time just in the sense that the show was good for what it was (the seasons that I watched), but it still didn't hold a candle to the books and that's fine.
