February 2017 Review:
So, honestly, I didn't think that I would ever read this series again. I wanted to remember it fondly, and I suspected that it wouldn't hold up next to all the really great urban fantasy that I've read over the years, especially because the later books of the series really went downhill.
But I was laid out with the flu. My boss told me that she didn't want me back at work until there was zero chance I was contagious, and I had pretty much already reread all my favorite serie ...more

Charming main character unlike any other I've ever read. The vampire thing has been done so many times, but Harris doesn't try to put too much of her own spin on them, so they actually work.
