Ora bem, eu gostei do livro mas acho que a linguagem rebuscada fez com que eu não adorasse o livro como queria, não percebi algumas palavras (já estava à espera que isto acontecesse) e portanto certas piadas passaram-me ao lado. Mesmo assim gostei bastante da história e das personagens, apesar de achar o romance (sim porque este livro é um romance) assim algo previsível. Tenho o 2º volume mas acho que não ovu continuar com a série.
I tried so very hard to enjoy this book. It seems that I am definitely in the minority. It's not because the writing was poor - it wasn't. It's not because the story had no depth - it did. It just didn't do ANYTHING for me whatsoever. I often read historical fiction and I also often read urban fantasy/paranormal books. I thought this would be a great combination. And, it obviously is for most - but not for me.
