When first starting this book I did not like it much. It seemed a bit trite at first. But once the story really started (about 3-4 chapters in) I started to really like this book. By time it ended I was hooked on the series.
Good book, took a while to get into and i wasnt hooked on reading set at this point, however after starting the second its happened i will have to read series.
Surprised to like this one. I read another Feehan book (not part of the Carpathian series) and did not like it at all. It gets a little bogged down at times, seems to repeat the same scenerio over and over at times, but then picks up. Characters are intriguing and make you care about them. Look forward to the rest of the series.
