So I did a re-read in 2024 because I wanted to get back into this series & I didn’t remember much about it. Glad I did because I literally did not remember ANYTHING I just read.
I haven’t cared for anything vampire in a long time. I just don’t like the dominance stuff, forcing others to bow to a master, to submit against their will. Kind of why I don’t like shifter books.

I love most vampire books but this one didn't have much going for it. There was very little action, it seemed like Neill had forgotten to add something to this book and so quickly added it to the end. I did like Merit and Mallory but I won't be continuing with this series. It was far too dull and quite cheesy at times.
