After reading this, I had quite a few unanswered questions. At times the story was all over the place and couldn't decide what path it was going to take. It's left me confused about certain outcomes plus quite a few characters were introduced and I didn't always understand their significance with so little information being given about them.

Another time where I wish I could rate w/ 1/2 stars. This one was a tad better than 3 to me, but just not quite a 4. Kept me pretty interested throughout - liked the humor and following Celia's new "adjustments". It became a little, for lack of a better word, stupid toward the end. As if the author was just trying to tie up ends and create new leads for the next book. All in all, I will pick up the next one and hopefully be able to give that one a full 4 stars ;)!

I just finished this today - and I'm not sure if I want 3 or 4 stars. Usually, I round up, but I just don't feel like this book merits a 'rounding up.' I'll have to sleep on it and then review it tomorrow and decide for sure if it is indeed 3 or 4 stars.

Well since I started this one over again, I recalled that Hunter's Moon had the same type of writing style. Even with the partnering with Cathy Clamp. I did enjoy this book immensely, and could see the improvement of Adam's writing. That was a really big plus in my opinion.
The plot itself had a confusing start, and had somewhat of a slow beginning. It's not until a little after half of the book that it all starts clicking together. I was impressed by the dialogue, and the settings.

It was good. I didn't follow the whole mystery portion and no one got laid. Oh well that's urban fantasy for you. But I liked the writing a lot.
