I don't know why, but this didn't really do it for me. It is honestly surprising, because the Mercy Thompson 'verse is one of my rock solid favorites.
I suppose that ... I don't know. I found Anna to be too ... know-it-all-ish. She comes across as condescending. Not just a little bit, a heck of a lot.

Wow um I binge read it n 4 hours... i think thats a new record for me! Now i need a cup of tea!
I need time to process the events of this book as well. So i might not do the best review and i apoligise.
First thing i have to say is, this is the first book that not only left me feeling it was incomplete but also left me a little disappointed. I was kinda looking forward to having an adoption journey play out somehow. But there was none of that. Instead we are introduced to new characters and taken ...more
